The Cornbury website will be down from 7:00 AM till about 5:00 PM on Friday 25 June. We're migrating from our 8-year-old server to more modern equipment which will be much faster. We expect some noticeable performance improvements on the site, although we can't give numbers at this point. We will, however, have reliable backup and improved manageability and all the benefits of running on equipment that is still under warranty!
Several other services will also be down during this time: mailing lists, including cornbury-members and cornbury-exec will not forward mail until the migration is complete. Anything you post during the outage may or may not be held for automatic retries by your own ISP. We ask that you wait until Friday evening before reposting your message.
